今回は、新規見学者が３人も来られて賑やかなレッスンになりました。

今回やったレッスンから憶えておきたいフレーズをご紹介します。

weasele one's way to --- 「言葉巧みに〜を得る」

これは、weasele one's way out of の形で「言葉巧みに〜を逃れる」のほうが良くみられます。

to top it off --- 「そのうえ」「挙句の果てに」

悪いことが発生して、「さらに悪いことに」みたいな感じの時に使えます。悪いことで使うとの事でしたが、良いことでも使えるんじゃないかなと思っています。あとで検証します。

boss someone around --- ｢威張り散らす」「ボス面をする」

これは一度聞いたら忘れそうにないですね。boss に y を付けて bossy 「威張りたがる」という形容詞もついでに憶えましょう。

not know the first thing about --- 「〜について何も知らない」「〜について基本的な事も知らない」

the first thing ですから、まず最初に知っておくべきことですね。
